The Diocese of the Arctic is the largest Diocese in the world! Women at St. Geoege's are being connected with Elders in Kangirsuk in a very northern part of Quebec with no road access and only occassional access for ships in August. We were able to give a monetary gift to the woemn of Kangirsuk to buy material, like ribbons and beads, not available in their local towns to make traditaionl garb. The women will come together for the woemn to share tehir stories, and perhaps transcribe them, so these stories ar enot lost. This is a new and exciting endeavor!
